Students, families, staff and community members can help by donating nonperishable food and hygiene items. Blue collection bins are located at each entrance of Webster Groves High School, including the Senior Entrance, Junior Entrance and Robert’s Gym

The next class of inductees to the Webster Groves High School Statesmen Sports Hall of Fame has been selected and are listed below. They will be honored at a banquet to be held Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Westborough Country Club in Webster Groves. Tickets for the event can be purchased online here: Hall of Fame Tickets

Board Meeting Recap: Opening of Schools and Bond Projects

The Webster Groves Board of Education met Thursday, August 27, and received updates on the start of the 2026-27 school year and progress on projects funded through the district’s bond program.

Webster Groves High School ranked among top 8% nationally

The ranking reflects the continued success of WGHS students in academics and college preparation. Members of the Class of 2026 earned an average ACT score of 23.9, above the state average, while 95% of students earned a score of 3 or higher on AP exams

Webster Groves Board of Education places 65-cent operating tax levy proposal on the November 3 ballot

The levy is a targeted investment designed to protect the exceptional educational standards our community values. Through the last few months we have heard from you through surveys, community forums and in other areas. Overwhelmingly, you have said that we must maintain our strong academic and extracurriculars and attract and retain great educators and staff.

The feedback we've received has been invaluable and is helping guide these important conversations. Throughout the summer, we will continue sharing information about the district's financial outlook. In August, we expect to present the Board with a recommendation informed by community feedback and engagement.

Right now, we are at an important and challenging crossroads. Like many school districts, we are experiencing rising costs and financial pressures that we can no longer absorb within our current budget. Simply put, we cannot continue operating as we are today without making significant changes.
