Thank You, Girls On The Run: Wow, thanks to our Clark community these girls raised over $150 for our Clark school playground and made over 120 cards for Bethesda residents. They also all just completed a 5k, that's right, 3.1 miles, this past Saturday. The girls were grateful to see so many cheering faces, especially special guest, Dr. Hays at the 2 mile mark! Special thanks to the amazing coaches and parents who supported these girls these past 12 weeks and on race day. Especially coaches Lozano, Toppins, Chibnall, and Joy. Girls on the run, is so much fun!

Scholastic Book Fair: Thank you for everyone's support in making this year's book fair a big success. We had over $10,000 in sales, and will be receiving a little over $5,100 in Scholastic Dollars in return! By choosing to take our proceeds from Scholastic in “Scholastic Dollars,” we are able to receive 50% of the total sales of the book fair. Scholastic Dollars can be used to purchase a variety of things including books of course, but also classroom items, furniture, technology, curriculum materials, and more. So $5,000 can go a long way to keep our library and classrooms current.
If you have any questions or ideas for future Book Fairs, please reach out to Katie Heitgerd at katiehufford@gmail.com or Emily Odum at emmaodum@gmail.com.
Stay Connected to Everything Happening at Clark
