The Givens Library and Launch Lab is the heart of our building. Through the Library and Launch Lab, Givens students have access to high quality research and recreational reading materials. The GLLL features learning opportunities using iPad apps, green screen movie making, Legos, Spheros, Ozobots, Makey Makey, and a variety of coding programs including Scratch. Students in both schools receive weekly instruction appropriate for their grade levels. Apps and tech tools used with each group vary according to project needs. At Givens, students complete readers advisory goals, practice problem solving using design thinking and focus on various levels of computer coding.
