My name is Mrs. Howard and I will be your Kindergarten teacher this year!  I love teaching Kindergarten and can’t imagine teaching any other grade!  This is my 26th year teaching in Webster Groves and 25 of my 26 years have been in Kindergarten and 1 year was Second Grade!  Now you know how much I love Kindergarten!

I grew up in Webster Groves and attended Bristol Elementary for grade school and graduated from Webster High School many years ago! I went to Mizzou and graduated with my degree in Early Childhood Education. You will notice many Mizzou references in my classroom.  Lots of black and gold, tiger paws and our class mascot is Truman the Tiger. I received my Masters of Education at Maryville University.  I met Mr. Howard while at Mizzou and we have two wonderful daughters. Caroline will be a junior in college and Audrey will be a freshman in college. I also have two dogs, Copper and Maisy, who keep us very busy.

Believe it or not school will be starting very soon.   Please bring your school supplies, the list is on the Avery webpage as well as mine, and a small beach towel with you on meet the teacher day, August 8^th at 5:30pm.  We will spend some time sorting and organizing!  Parents – don’t forget that Kindergarten Parent Open House is aat this time as well.  We do not meet on the school wide Open House night so please plan on attending the August 8th Meet the Teacher/ Open House.
