I grew up in Wisconsin, went to college in Minnesota, started my teaching career in Texas, and have called St. Louis my home since 2005.  I have experience teaching early childhood, 4th grade, and 3rd grade.  I have been at Avery Elementary since the 2016-2017 school year and I love coming to work here every day! 

When I'm not at Avery I enjoy spending time with my family.  We love being outdoors: hiking, swimming, camping, fishing, and playing sports (baseball & soccer with my son and volleyball & running with my daughter).  When the weather isn't nice enough to be outside, we love reading, playing board games, and watching movies, like Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Avengers.  We also love watching Cardinals baseball, Blues hockey, and Packers football games.
