Welcome to Polaris Science.  My name is Lisa Rodriguez.  I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in History/Pre-law from Indiana University of PA and served as an officer in the United States Navy for 7 years.  After my Naval service,  I earned my teaching credential from California State University Long Beach, CA. My husband is a retired Naval Officer. Before moving to Missouri, we lived in various places, mostly on the east and west coasts with one tour overseas in the United Arab Emirates. I have taught for 23 years in a variety of capacities, Gifted Education, English as a Second Language, preschool, Reading Specialist, third and fifth grades.  For the past 5 years, I have taught in Webster Groves, one year at Bristol and four at Steger.  We live in Kirkwood and have 2 sons, Alec who lives with us and Erik who lives and works in Washington DC.  In my spare time, I enjoy working out, cooking, traveling, reading, hiking, and snow skiing.
