This is my 25th year of teaching sixth graders at Steger, and I am still having a great time! Although my degree is in Elementary Education, my area of specialization is mathematics, and I just love to see students grow in their enthusiasm about math. Before Steger, I taught fifth graders in the city’s parochial school system; and before entering the education world, I worked in advertising for several years. I received my B.A.Ed. from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and my M.A.Ed. from National-Lewis University - Chicago. It’s been 20 years since my family moved from St. Louis City to Webster Groves – right across from Moss Field. So I will likely continue to see many of your children over the next few years. My husband, John, and I have two amazing sons, Isaac and Elliot, ages 16 and 20. I feel very fortunate to be part of the Webster Groves School District as both a teacher and a parent, and I’m also happy to live in such of lovely community.
