Mr. Petter is in his 11th year at Webster and in his 15th year overall as a secondary education teacher.  Mr. Petter earned his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri in 2003; he earned teacher certification alongside a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Missouri in 2005.  Mr. Petter also has 50 additional hours of graduate credit in psychology and history from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Mr. Petter is also the Head Boys' Cross Country and Track coach and is USATF Level 1 Certified in Track and Field and Level 2 certified in Distance Running, as well as a USTFCCCA Level 1 Certification.  He has proudly served on the district's IDEA Professional Development Committee and Technology And Information Standards Writing, as well as the high school's Principal's Advisory Committee, PBTE committee, and Technology committee.
