Mrs. Kathy Ecker
I attended Loyola University in New Orleans and began teaching first grade in January of 1991. My classroom teaching experience has been in first, third, and fourth grades and I am fortunate to have taught in both New Orleans and St. Louis throughout my career. Currently, I am a Reading Specialist at Avery. I have my Master's Degree in Elementary Education with Reading Specialization, Reading Recovery Certification, and Orton-Gillingham Certification. I have been a proud Avery Allstar since 2006!
