After attending Purdue University and recieving a BA in Political Science, I moved to the St. Louis area where family members were living. I decided (after some family coaxing) to pursue a teaching certificate in Social Sciences grades 7-12 from Lindenwood University. Since this initial foray into the rewarding world of education, I find myself a 22 year veteran teacher in Webster Groves. As a part of the Webster Groves School District community, the mission of Hixson Middle School is to develop responsible citizens of strong character.
