A few bits of info about me. . .

I grew up in central Ohio and have been teaching middle school science for over 20 years.  I started my teaching career in Ohio, and then moved to St. Louis in 1999. I have been teaching 8th grade science at Hixson ever since.  I received my bachelors degree from Ashland University, and then received my masters degree from National Louis University.

Growing up, I have always been curious about the world around me.  There is so much to see and learn about our world. This curiosity led to my choosing to teach science.  There is so much to learn and discover. I love exploring and trying to work out scientific problems. My goal is to impart this love of learning with my students.  Helping students develop this curiosity is one of the highlights of my career.
