Ms. Leslie Bennett

I have been the middle school physical education teacher for the Webster Groves School District since 1998. I have previous experience as an adaptive physical education instructor, alternative special education instructor and over 25 years’ experience as a life guard and water safety instructor.

I enjoy teaching health and physical education to provide youth a foundation of knowledge and skills to be active and healthy for life.  I am married to Jim and we have three adult sons (Andrew, Ian and Alex) . I grew up in Springfield Illinois attending Springfield High School.  I lettered in 4 varsity athletic teams including tennis, volleyball, basketball and track while in high school.  Volleyball and water sports contintued to be my interest through adulthood.  I now participate in a variety of fitness activities to maintain a health lifestyle including swimming, weight lifting, and walking.

Memberships: American Alliance of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, YMCA, Christ Lutheran Church

Interest: aquatics, traveling, motorcycle riding, outdoor activities, time with my family and friends, sports ,and the arts(music, dance)
