Biology is the study of Life and how it interacts. This class will be a introduction to how life is organized and how organisms interact with their enviroment. Content covered will include- the chemistry of life, cell growth and reproduction, photosynthesis and cellular respiration, genetics, natural selection and ecology. Students will learn by direct instruction, learning activites/games, projects and laboratory events. Typically homework will be to finish what was initated during class, and maybe given once or twice a week. This class finishes with typical content mid-April, when students will take the EOC-End of Course exam. Biology A will go at a faster pace and create time for personalized projects.
