Welcome! My name is Sidney Coleman and I am one of the SSD resource teachers here at Edgar Road Elementary School. This is my first year teaching. I graduated from Webster University in May 2018. 

Growing up, my father was in the Army, so I have lived in many different places. I moved to St. Louis three years ago and I am starting to plant my roots here. In my free time I enjoy going to concerts, baseball games, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.

I believe that my role as a teacher is to create limitless opportunities for students to learn and succeed. This comes from being inclusive, providing additional support, differentiating, and promoting student-led activites. My goal is that I want my students to have the ability to think and act independently. Giving students the ability to seek out new knowledge and skills is my highest priority.
