What is Adventure Club?
Adventure Club provides a safe space for children and their friends to dream, interact, play, and learn. The self-supporting program is provided by the Webster Groves School District as a service to residents of the district at each Elementary School. The program is now in its 38th year of operation, currently serving 100 plus children.
Adventure Club is a fee-based program providing services before and after the regular school day, early dismissal days, and some teacher professional development days. The school year program opens at 6:45 AM and closes at 5:45 PM. Before care availability at each school is based on enrollment numbers and may not be available at each school. Adventure Club also offers a summer before and after care program in conjunction with Webster Groves School District’s Summer Exploration Experience (SEE).
Adventure Club provides a wide variety of experiences and opportunities that have a long-lasting positive impact on a child’s development. Download our application for enrollment at the Ambrose Family Center website.

Summer Adventure Club will participate in field trips throughout the duration of the program. We commonly attend field trips on Fridays from 12:30 pm-3:00 pm. If your child is enrolled in the Celebrate Reading Program after SEE, their dismissal time conflicts with our field trip. Adventure Club and staff will not be on site when the Reading Program is released at 2:30 pm. On Fridays, your family must choose for your child to either attend our field trip or, the Reading Program and your child must be picked up by 2:30 when the program is released.
