Role: 3rd Grade Teacher

Share something no one knows about you: When we were going through my dad's things, I discovered what my first concert was! I always thought it was an Avril Lavigne concert I went to in elementary school, but I was wrong. Turns out I went to a Grateful Dead concert when I was a baby! My dad really wanted to go (they were his favorite band) and my mom couldn't get a sitter, so I got to tag along!

My Family: I have a niece and nephew (3 and 1) who I love being with and who make every day better. My family lost my dad this March after his battle with cancer, which has been really hard. Luckily, I have my incredible mom, two sisters, a brother, and two very cute cats to help me! In my free time, I love reading, walking, having a nice cup of coffee, and doing yoga!

What I am looking forward to: I am really excited for the opportunity to work in Given as it becomes a neighborhood school! I think we will be able to build a lot of positive and loving relationships within our community that will help kids thrive. I can't wait to meet everyone!
