Degrees and Certifications:
I completed my undergraduate and graduate work in Education at the University of Missouri-Columbia. This will be my 19th year as a reading teacher in the Webster Groves School District. I believe that all students can develop the strategies and skills they need to improve their reading and thinking.
Mrs. Vicki Williams
Role: Reading Interventionist
Share something no one knows about you: I am amazing at the arcade game Galaga.
Family:I live in Webster Groves with my husband and have the most fun spending time with my friends and family—especially our sweet grandchildren, Brody, Lily and Parker. I like to cook and bake, garden, ride my bike, travel and curl up with a good book.
What I am looking forward to: I’m truly looking forward to watching this school and community come to life and forming relationships with students and their families.
A quote I like:
For it isn’t normal to always be good—
I don’t think you’d want to, and don’t think you should;
Just as food tastes better with a shake of salt,
A small bit of mischief is hardly a fault.
And life would be boring, and life would be grim,
If children were all goody-goody and prim.
For years, this quote hung on our refrigerator as a reminder to embrace not only the order, but the disorder of the day.
