Education Background: BA in English with an Emphasis in Dramatic Literature from Webster University, Post Baccalaureate Teacher Certification from UMSL. Certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Early Childhood.

Family and Hobbies: I am a Texan who came to Webster University for college. I met my husband, a native St Louisan, during undergrad and we then spent about a decade in Southern California, doing theatre and making movies. We moved back to St Louis to start the next chapter of our life together. It was during this time I finally had the courage to change careers from an administrative assistant to an elementary classroom teacher. My husband and I are both lovers of the fine arts and pop culture. We love introducing our children (ages 5 and 3) to new things and expanding their minds through experiences and quality time. As a family we enjoy games of all sorts, summer trips to Michigan, and attending & participating at our church.

A Little Known Fact about Me: I am an avid Dungeons and Dragons player and game master.
