Health and Safety
-
As we begin the school year, the health and safety of our students and staff is one of our top priorities. We're happy that we could provide free COVID-19 testing and vaccinations to many community members over the summer and we will continue to do so.
We are grateful for your cooperation and understanding as we review the most up-to-date information. We acknowledge that cases are still present but are thankful to have access to vaccines and preventative measures in our toolbox to help keep our community safe.
Beginning on the first day of school, face coverings will be recommended, not required, indoors while Community Levels for St. Louis County are high. We will continue to monitor cases in our schools, but will not utilize a threshold to move to a mask-required status. Anyone may continue to wear masks while at school. Masks continue to be an effective mitigation strategy against COVID-19 and other airborne viruses.
You can view the updated plan here, which includes but is not limited to continued maintenance of a data dashboard, access to vaccinations and testing, and continued requirements for quarantine and isolation.
