Children’s Dental Health Month!
Hello Clark parents and guardians!
February 2021 is celebrated as Children’s Dental Health Month. It is traditionally a month that school nurses use to educate and promote good oral health to their students. The week of February 22, Nurse Meagan is collaborating with health teacher Mr. Bennett to teach Kindergarten - 2nd grade students about healthy dental practices. Students watched a short Brainpop Jr. video and saw an example of healthy and appropriate teeth brushing and flossing. Each student was sent home with a toothbrush and some informational sheets.
Please check out the handouts and help your child with tooth brushing at home!
