Stay Connected to Everything Happening at Clark and the WGSD

There are many ways information is shared about Clark, the Clark PTO and the WGSD. If you haven't been receiving communications, it might be a good time to review your SchoolMessenger settings to ensure you get all the important information going forward. We put together this Clark Eagles - Stay Connected flyer to help ensure you know what's happening at Clark and in the District.

If you or your kids are having trouble uploading stuff to Seesaw, please make sure you are using the Seesaw Class app, not the Seesaw Family app. Seesaw Family is used by parents to view/comment on their children's work, but the Seesaw Class app is required to allow kids to add new content such as videos, photos and journal entries. If you have any questions, please work with your child's teacher for assistance.

Friendly reminder that the Clark PTO has Venmo! In fact, Venmo is the preferred method for payments and reimbursements. You can send payments to @ClarkPTO or when requesting reimbursements, please provide your Venmo account with your request!

An important message from Clark Nurse Meagan Lozano.

From the CDC: Handwashing is an easy, cheap and effective way to prevent the spread of germs and keep kids and adults healthy. When your family is healthy, you don’t have to worry about missing school, work or other activities. Parents and caretakers play an important role in teaching children to wash their hands. Handwashing can become a lifelong healthy habit if you start teaching it at an early age. Teach kids the five easy steps for handwashing — wet, get soap, scrub, rinse and dry — and the key times to wash hands, such as after using the bathroom or before eating. You can find ways to make it fun, like making up your own handwashing song or turning it into a game.

Young children learn by imitating the behaviors of adults in their lives. When you make handwashing part of your routine, you’re setting an example for your children to follow. See this flyer for more information.

I recommend viewing these short handwashing videos with your children as well to reinforce what they are learning here at school!
