Help Needed to Stock the Fridge for Staff Appreciation this Friday
This has been a long crazy school year! Let's show our Clark Staff some LOVE! The staff appreciation committee has arranged for the Blues Fired Pizza truck to come during lunch this Friday, January 21st, for all staff. We'd also love to stock the fridge with individual drinks and stock the pantry with individually wrapped snacks. Please help us stock the fridge by signing up to bring an item for the staff at the following link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0a49afae2aabfd0-staff1. Please bring items to school by Thursday, January 20th.
Seeking Notes of Appreciation for Teachers & Staff this Friday
The PTO is seeking your help to share acts of kindness for Clark teachers and staff! We thought students and families could create a note or drawing to share with a teacher or staff member in unison with Staff Appreciation on Friday, January 21st. All you have to do to participate is send a note or drawing with your student Friday morning and instruct them to pass it on. Let's help lift spirits and show how much we appreciate everything our teachers and staff are doing for our children during these challenging times!

Amazon Bags Still Needed for Art Room
Thank you to everyone who sent in Amazon bags to the Art room. They are the perfect means of transport for getting clay projects home safely. I only have a few left and have 2 new grade levels starting their clay projects in January. Please send in any Amazon/mail bags to the Art room- size does not matter. Thank you! Mrs. Boyer

Reminder from Nurse Meagan
Here are some important reminders during this COVID 19 surge in St. Louis County:
2. If your child has received their COVID 19 vaccine, please send Nurse Meagan a picture of their vaccination card. Students who are fully vaccinated (2 weeks past the second dose) and who do not have symptoms, do not have to quarantine after an exposure to a positive case.
3. Please notify Nurse Meagan of any positive COVID 19 tests for your child or any exposures to a positive COVID 19 individual.
Inclement Weather School Closing Information
Should bad weather or other adverse conditions prompt us to consider closing schools, or initiate a late start or early dismissal, the District will make a decision as early as possible. Information will be available through the following outlets:
Phone calls to all families through SchoolMessenger
Local media: KMOV TV (Channel 4), KSDK TV (Channel 5), KTVI (Channel 2) and KMOX radio (AM 1120)
There are many ways information is shared about Clark and the Clark PTO. If you haven't been receiving communications, it might be a good time to review your SchoolMessenger settings to ensure you get all the important information going forward. We put together this Clark Eagles - Stay Connected flyer to help ensure you know what's happening at Clark.
