Everything the PTO does is possible because the parents and staff at Clark volunteer their time and talent to make it happen. Below is a list and description of all the PTO committees. We sincerely hope you will find the time to volunteer to help make Clark a wonderful community of learners!

Annual Fund Drive
Fundraising is crucial to our success as a school and a community. PTO funds stipends for teachers to use for their classrooms, funds for field trips, school capital improvements and funds for all school PTO events throughout the year.
Box Tops for Education/Clipping For Clark
This is a year-round fundraiser for Clark. By collecting and redeeming General Mills Box Tops for Education the PTO earns cash for the school. For more information, check out the BTFE flyer.
This is a year-round fundraiser for Clark. By using your registered eScrip card each time you check out at Schnucks, Clark gets 3% of your purchase amount. Pick your card up at Schnucks today!
Child and adult-size shirts and other Clark School items will be sold. It's a great way to show you're proud to be a member of the Clark community!
Scholastic Book Fair
This multi-day event will be held Thursday, November 8th - Thursday, November 15th at Clark and offers an opportunity for students and parents to purchase books while generating new books for the library and the classrooms with the proceeds from the sales.
Trivia Night & Silent Auction
Adult fun! Join other Clark parents for an evening of trivia, food and laughter. Mark your calendar for Saturday, February 2nd!
The Buzz Book is organized and published by the PTO and is Clark's telephone directory.
This special memento for Clark students is for sale at the end of the year with school pictures and candid photos taken throughout the school year.
Supporting Clark Staff and Administration
This committee assists Clark's teachers by making daily copies, allowing the teachers and teachers' aides to spend more time in the classroom with students.
Parents, students and student groups take part in keeping the Clark School grounds beautiful by planting, weeding and watering.
Parents work with their child's teacher to provide treats, drinks and activities during holiday parties. They also take pictures over the course of the year to submit to the Yearbook. This year, the PTO will be funding these important activities.
Our wonderful teachers can always use a little TLC. This committee provides breakfast, lunch and treats for our staff throughout the school year.
Building School Pride and Community
Back To School Bash
The back to school bash is a great way to celebrate the start of an awesome school year! Kindergarten families are welcome to gather early at 5:30pm to meet others new to Clark. The party is Friday, August 17th from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Clark.
The Chess Club takes place on Friday mornings in the Library from 7:30am-8:15am. The beginning players will receive instruction to learn how the pieces move and beginning strategy. For the more advanced players, there will be parent-supervised free play.
This parent-led group believes growing ourselves and our community is a necessary step towards ensuring all Clark students and families have what they need to feel valued and be an integral part of our school community. The Equity Committee believes this effort will enrich the lives of all Clark students. Monthly meetings are held at Llewellyn's every 3rd Monday of the month from 7:00pm-8:30pm.
Library Book Club
The Library Book Club is a year-round program that provides a great way to keep our library growing with books contributed in honor of a student's birthday or any other suitable occasion.
This committee was formed to help Clark families when unexpected hardships arise. Committee members organize to help families with whatever needs they have to make life a little easier, such as meal preparation, running errands, transportation/carpool, babysitting or other household needs.
After School Enrichment
These after school classes are available to all students and are usually held one day a week on 4 consecutive Wednesdays from February to March. The subject of classes changes according to the interests of the kids, but there is a class to please every student. A few examples of classes are yoga, acting, soccer and chess.
Father's Flag Football Game
The flag football game is a chance for Clark dads to get to know each other better by deploying strategy to advance the ball against other Clark dads. The game is usually on a Sunday afternoon sometime in October or November.
Fifth Grade Events
Fifth Grade is a very special year! PTO helps to make it even more special by planning a graduation reception, helping to raise money for 5th grade camp and a class gift.
Ice Skating Party
This party is held at the Webster ice skating rink and brings the Clark Community together to skate and socialize. It will be held on Sunday, January 6th from 4:00pm-6:00pm.
Read, Right & Run
The program's goal is to develop reading-proficient, community-minded and physically fit children by challenging them to Read 26 books, Right the community with 26 good deeds, and Run 26.2 miles over a six-month period. It is a standards-based, sustainable, enrichment program that endorses and supports existing school curriculum. Meetings are held every 3rd Friday of the month and every 2nd Saturday starting in October. The big race will be on April 6th, 2019!
We Love Science Night
There will be various science learning stations and hands-on activities for Clark students and their families to participate in. The event will be held in October.
Family Movie Night
The Clark movie night is a fun event for the entire family! Bring your blankets, cushions, bean bags and folding chairs to the Clark gym to enjoy a family friendly movie with prizes! Your favorite movie snacks are provided by the Clark PTO free of charge! Event date is March 9th, 2019.
Trunk or Treat
Kids can dress up and celebrate Halloween in a fun and safe environment. Held in the Clark parking lot, families host a parking spot and then kids can "trick or treat" from trunk to trunk. It will be held on Friday, October 26th.
The parents in the welcome committee help families new to Clark feel welcomed and help them get acclimated to the school and the Webster Groves community.
