Tens Go Fish
2 or more players
1 deck of cards-remove the face cards and the 10s (Note: Ace = 1)
Goal: Create sums of ten This game is played like traditional Go Fish, except that a “match” is two cards that can be added together to make ten.
- Shuffle the cards and deal 5 to each player. Place the rest of the cards in a pile in the center.
- Any player that can create a sum of ten with 2 of the cards in their hand, may lay those cards down in front of them.
- When it is your turn, look at the cards in your hand. Ask another player if they have a card that can be added to one of yours to equal ten. If they have that card, they to give it to you. If they do not have that card, you “Go Fish” and take a card from the center. Example: If you have a 6 in your hand, think: 6 + ____ = 10, so you would ask another player for a 4.
- Play continues until there are no cards left. The person with the most cards (matches of ten) at the end of the game is the winner.
