Veteran Alumni

Our Statesmen of WGHS hosted their annual Veterans Day program on Friday, November 7 and celebrating All Who Have Served. Veterans and Active Duty Service personnel enjoyed a hearty breakfast before the program in the Roberts Gym. Students had the honor to have veteran classroom visits, hearing first-hand stories about their military experiences and serving for our country.

The WGHS Social Studies Department hosted the annual event, honoring over 40 veterans during the school day. Enjoy pictures that captures veterans and Statesmen during the WGHS Veterans Day.

Veterans Wall

The Webster Groves School District is grateful to our nation’s heroes for their dedication and service.

Over three hundred and twenty-three graduates of Webster Groves/Douglass high school are featured on our Veterans Wall. Each photo is 8 by 10 and includes the veteran’s name, graduation year and branch of service. If you are a graduate of Webster Groves or Douglass High School and are a veteran, we would love to have your picture included on the WGHS Veterans Military Wall of Honor.

Please fill out the WGHS Veteran Wall Submission Form and include a photo of yourself.

Each year, veterans join us for our annual WGHS Veterans Tribute. Many veterans stay to talk to our students in a classroom setting. If you are interested in sharing your experiences with students at the high school, please contact the WGHS Social Studies Department Head, Mrs. Betty Roberts roberts.betty@wgmail.org
