Voices of Webster

Alumni

Taylor Crawford, '14

“From the beginning of my time as a student at WGHS, there was a strong emphasis on becoming a well-rounded individual, excelling not only in the classroom but also participating in extracurricular activities and volunteer opportunities. Through these experiences, I discovered my passion for community-based work, which continued throughout my college years and ultimately guided me to my current career in community development.”

"The most important thing in business and personal life is being able to work with and get along with other people. Everything about that I learned by being at Webster Groves High School and to this day I'm very thankful for that."

"As alumni, my husband and I wanted our kids to experience all that Webster Groves has to offer. It’s more than just an amazing education. It’s an atmosphere of tradition, community, and family. Students here feel safe to be who they are, without discrimination. The leadership truly cares for the students and wants what is best for them. I continue to watch as my kids grow in knowledge, experience, and confidence in order to go into the world equipped to be successful.

All four of our children have very different personalities, but each have found their unique learning styles and felt supported along the way. They truly enjoy going to school. We love everything about our district!"

"We have an awesome community of great families. I have a lot of friends from school that I still have today and I carried those relationships through my life. I am still playing music with my fellow Webster Groves graduates."
