Virtual Summer Learning Opportunities K - 5

  • Webster Groves will partner with Launch to provide summer learning opportunities for those students needing access to virtual courses this summer.
    Launch Virtual Summer Learning Opportunities will be open to all rising 1st-5th grade students and will provide a wide range of enrichment and adaptive academy classes.

    Enrichment Programming
    18 days of fun, cross-content learning, focused on the themes of Your National Parks Adventure, Route 66 Road Trip, and Earth Explorers
    • 6 hours daily teacher-supported programming
    • One-on-one and small group support
    • ELA, Math, Science & Social Studies standards
    • Related arts and physical activity content
    • Virtual field trips and digital badging
    • Adaptive software access

    Adaptive Academy Classes
    18 days of instruction in math, reading, and coding to build student’s skills.
    • Up to 3 hours daily-students can pick 1 or 2 each session
    • Launch Into Reading – 1st-5th grade
    • Launch Into Math – 1st-5th grade
    • Launch Into Coding – 3rd-5th grade
    • Access to adaptive software
    • One-on-one and small group support

    The program will be taught by Missouri certified teachers. Students can sign up for one or both sessions.
    Dates Session 1: June 7 – June 30
    Dates Session 2: July 7 – July 30
    Registration information will be sent via district email in mid February.
