Who: Hixson Middle School offers tuition-free summer school enrichment to district students entering sixth through eighth grade during the 2026-27 school year.

Dates: June 1 - 26 (no school June 19)
Time: 8:15 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Important Information:

  • Field Trip Cost: There is a $25 fee per student to cover the cost of weekly field trips. Need based scholarships are available.
  • Course Offerings: Students can choose from a total of 16 exciting courses, selecting 4 classes to take each day.
  • Attendance: We encourage students to commit to attending all 4 weeks. Consistent participation ensures the best learning experience and helps us provide each student the chance to fully engage and benefit from the program.
  • Space is limited based on previous years' enrollment. A waiting list will be available if spots fill up.
