9/5/2022- Beginning this year, late start days have been added to the school calendar. The district’s first K-12 late start is Monday, September 12. Adjusted late start times are as follows (please note that preschool does not utilize late starts and will begin at normal times):

K-5: 9:05 a.m.
6-12: 9:40 a.m.

Late start days allow for additional time for teachers to use data and collaborate so that we can address the needs of all of our students. 

WGSD provides free supervision to students who need this service. Supervision begins at 7:40 a.m. for K-5 and 8:15 a.m. for grades 6-12. Elementary students in need of care should arrive between 7:40 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. Middle school students in need of care should arrive between 8:15 a.m. - 8:25 a.m. If your family is in need of care, please contact your school.
