Pam Frazier named School Business Official of the Year

Pam Frazier Named 2023 School Business Official of the Year by Missouri Association of School Business Officials

The Missouri Association of School Business Officials (MoASBO) has recognized Pam Frazier, chief financial/operating officer for Webster Groves School District, as the 2023 School Business Official of the Year. This prestigious award is a peer recognition program established to acknowledge an active member who has demonstrated excellence in service to their school district, community, profession, and MoASBO.

This year’s award was sponsored by PFM Asset Management. As the recipient, Frazier will receive a $1,000 scholarship towards a 2023-24 ASBOI meeting/conference expenditure, and a student from WGSD will receive a $2,000 college scholarship.

Pam Frazier joined public education in 1998 as an elementary school administrative assistant and worked her way up to a position in the finance department. She is currently responsible for all areas of business and operations in the Webster Groves School District, which include technology, maintenance, custodial, construction, student transportation, food service, finance, and the business office.

Under Frazier’s leadership, the district has earned a reputation of strong financial management and stability, earning a“AA+” long-term rating by S&P Global Rating Services, one of the highest ratings. 

Pam Frazier’s commitment to excellence and dedication to her profession have made her a true leader in the field of school business management. Her achievements and contributions have been instrumental in improving the quality of education in the Webster Groves School District and beyond.
