Playground Project Updates
Thanks SO MUCH to everyone who has participated in the 72-hour Playground Project Pop-Up Fundraiser so far! We are working to pull together $1,500 to secure a planning/engineering grant by 6 p.m. tonight! Any donations that put us over that amount will go toward the additional $11K needed to secure the $300K municipality grant to build the playground. If you haven't had a chance to donate yet, you can still do so here:
site/ to use Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any other credit card - https://bit.ly/
hudsonplaydonate to use PayPal or pay via check
Any shoes to spare?
Another way to help raise money for the Hudson Playground Project: Please drop new or gently worn athletic shoes in the marked boxes stationed in the Hudson School's lobby (send in with the kids) and the lobby of Rock Hill City Hall (827 Rock Hill Rd) between the hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
- We need to collect 700 pairs to earn $1,500 by Nov. 30 (we can extend this deadline if needed)!
- Please share this call with your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, etc.!
- The Fundraising Company that supports the drive sends the shoes to micro-entrepreneurs in developing countries to repair and resell.
