Good morning Hudson Families!  Please see below for important information:

Upcoming Dates:

1/17:  No School

Notes From The Nurse:

It can be difficult to keep up with ever-changing health guidance and protocols. The following points are intended to help clarify some commonly asked questions. As always, please email me at if you have any further questions.

At-home testing - WGSD accepts POSITIVE at-home test results only. We do NOT accept negative at-home test results. Rapid tests are accepted if they are a Rapid PCR test.

Vaccine status is the biggest determinant of the need for quarantine. Provided they do not have symptoms, fully vaccinated students do NOT need to quarantine, even if they are exposed to or living with an individual with active COVID.

Children 5-17 years old are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.  Pfizer booster doses for those 12-17 provide optimal protection against contracting COVID and minimizing the severity of symptoms and they are highly recommended.

Unless fully vaccinated and without symptoms, siblings must stay home from school while a symptomatic sibling is waiting for test results.

Current quarantines for the WGSD are being issued for 10, 15, and 20 days, depending upon specific circumstances.

As long as the student no longer has symptoms, they may return to school after a period of 10 days isolation for a positive COVID case, Letters of Release from Isolation are no longer required by the district.

Stay Healthy!!

Webster Groves PAC

The Webster Groves Parent Advisory Council (PAC) will meet on Thursday, January 13 at 6:00 pm over Zoom. Everyone is welcome! We will be joined by the Director of Special Education for WGSD, Ms. Shantay  Wakefield, along with other SSD administrators who will give a brief presentation and answer questions. Zoom link: (meeting ID 960 6327 2230). Please contact Rebecca O’Laughlin at with any questions.

The Webster Groves district PAC was formed by families who expect that children with disabilities and/or unique learning needs are educated effectively, afforded the dignity of belonging, and valued throughout all WGSD learning opportunities and experiences.

PAC representatives communicate regularly and directly with SSD and WG administrators about the needs and interests of students who have IEPs and 504 plans.
