STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

 If you are taking the ACT this Saturday, please remember the following:

  • You will need to arrive no later than 7:55 a.m.  If you arrive after 8:00 a.m., you will be denied admission to the test.
  • You need a photo ID AND admission ticket to be admitted to your test room.
  • Please be respectful of others when you are on your breaks, and keep noise to a minimum.
  • We no longer accept standbys.

 

 

Attention students interested in being a Camp Wyman counselor for this fall that picked up an application at registration; please turn that into the activities office as soon as possible. You can still stop by the activities office to pick up an application if you have not already.

 

Josten’s will be here on Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 18 during both lunches to take orders for class rings and graduation supplies.

 

SENIORS

 

CLUB / STUCO MEETINGS

MONDAY

- FCCLA is now the Culinary Club. We will be having our first cooking event toda (Monday, September 9th). Please come ready to cook. You will need your membership fee and closed toed shoes. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Meadge or Ms. Shea.

- Magic the Gathering Club will meet on Monday’s from 2:45-3:45 in room 291.

- Flute Choir will meet today in the Orchestra Room at 2:45 pm.  

 

TUESDAY

- Art Club meets every Tuesday after school in room 190. 

- Join the Cycling Club each Tuesday morning, at 7:30 in room 358.

- Scholar Bowl will practice after school on Tuesday’s in room 276.

 

WEDNESDAY

- Amnesty International meets every Wednesday at 730 a.m. in 272.

- Magic the Gathering Club will meet on Wednesday’s from 2:45-3:45 in room 291.

- Tri-M will have a meeting at 7:30 am on Wednesday in the Orchestra Room. New members are welcome.

- Statesmen Symphony will meet on Wednesday after school in the Orchestra Room to pass out music and discuss the rehearsal schedule.

 

THURSDAY

- History Club will meet every Thursday morning at 7:25 in room 276.

- Scholar Bowl will practice after school on Thursday’s in room 276.

- Fishing Club will meet Thursday in room 003 at 2:50.

Interested in serving senior citizens in our community?  The Shepherd’s Center is looking for volunteers for an event this fall and for help throughout the year with raking, weeding, and maintaining the lawns of seniors in Webster Groves and Kirkwood.  If you or your team are looking for a service opportunity, pop into the Chelsea Center in Room 200 to sign up!
