STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

 If you are taking the SAT this Saturday, please remember the following:

  • You will need to arrive no later than 7:55 a.m.  If you arrive after 8:00 a.m., you will be denied admission to the test.
  • You need a photo ID AND admission ticket to be admitted to your test room.
  • We no longer accept standbys.
  • ALL CELL PHONES WILL BE COLLECTED PRIOR TO TESTING.

 

Inter-State Studios is here today until 11:30 for underclassmen and staff and until needed for seniors. They are set up in the multi-purpose room for picture retakes and to take photos of any student or staff who not yet been photographed. If you are having a retake, you should have your picture packet with you. Students will be called alphabetically over the PA system.

 

Pulseva Project: Spanish Club will be holding a fundraiser sale during both lunches today (Thursday) and Friday, as well as next Monday and Wednesday. They will be selling bracelets from a non-project organization called the Pulseva Project. All bracelets are $5.00 and all the money will support the artists who made the bracelets back in Nicaragua.

 

The 40th Annual Glendale Firehouse Run will be held on Sunday, October 27. On-line registration and information can be found at www.glendalemo.org.

- Magic the Gathering Club will meet on Monday’s from 2:45-3:45 in room 291.

- Fencing Club will have a second organizational meeting on Monday after school.

- Scholar Bowl will practice after school on Tuesday’s in room 276.

- Amnesty International meets every Wednesday at 730 a.m. in 272.

Interested in serving senior citizens in our community?  The Shepherd’s Center is looking for volunteers for an event this fall and for help throughout the year with raking, weeding, and maintaining the lawns of seniors in Webster Groves and Kirkwood.  If you or your team are looking for a service opportunity, pop into the Chelsea Center in Room 200 to sign up!
