STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Reminder we have a late start schedule on Monday, October 7th. Students will miss two class periods (1/7) to accommodate time for teachers to meet in their PLC.  All late start days will begin at 8:57am and two class periods will be dropped. The building opens at 8:00 and students should enter through the senior entrance. If students arrive between 8:00-8:30 they need to stay in the cafeteria and library. After 8:30 students may enter the building through the junior, senior or Roberts Gym entrances.

Students, are not allowed to leave the cafeteria without a pass.  Students who are visiting a teacher or working in the library need to have a pass.  Without it, you may not leave the cafeteria.

Students as the weather turns colder, please remember that hoodies are not to be worn with the hood up.  We appreciate your cooperation.

The library will be closed after school on conference days; Monday 10/7, Tuesday 10/8, and Thursday 10/11.

Any girls interested in joining a Boy Scout troop that will be for girls only stop by the activities office to put your name on a sign-up sheet.

The Spanish Club Pulseva Project sale will begin today during both lunches and continue on Wednesday, Thursday and the following Monday (Oct 7). The bracelets are from a non-project organization called the Pulseva Project. All bracelets are $5.00 and all the money will support the artists who made the bracelets back in Nicaragua.

Yoga for the students will start the second half of both lunches on Wednesdays starting this week (Wed Oct 9th).  Meet in the Multipurpose Room (Rm 146) Wednesdays: the last half of 1st Lunch (11:19-11:34) and 2nd Lunch (12:21-12:36) for Back Trap Yoga. Back Trap Yoga is a musically driven yoga flow paired with trap music, R&B, electronic, jazz and more. We’ll pack a lot into 15 minutes, spending time centering, finding our breath, building heat through different poses and winding down to help you power through the rest of your day.

Sign up in advance with Ms. Hill in the Counseling Office, space is limited!

The 40th Annual Glendale Firehouse Run will be held on Sunday, October 27. On-line registration and information can be found at www.glendalemo.org.
