Kindergarten Information Night
Do you have an incoming kindergarten student for the 2021-2022 school year? Our elementary schools will
host a Kindergarten Information Night at 6 p.m. Feb. 10 during which you can learn more about the school and enrollment process. Details are below.
Families with children who will be attending kindergarten in the fall are encouraged to enroll as soon as possible after Feb. 10 so the district can plan class assignments and allocate resources.

School Board Election Update
In accordance with Missouri statute Sec.115.124, the Webster Groves School District will not have need of an election for Board of Education candidates since the number of candidates who have filed for the Board of Education is equal to the number of positions (2) in that office to be filled by the election April 6. Incumbents Christine Keller and Kita Quinn will be sworn in for second terms in April.
Several local hospital systems are offering COVID-19 vaccinations to teachers as well as other Phase 1b personnel. Some hospitals are providing people in the lower tiers the opportunity to get on a waiting list so that they can order more vaccine:

K-8 Social Studies Curriculum Revision and Survey – Extended Deadline
Since 2019, the WGSD has been working to revise the K-8 Social Studies curriculum. As part of our process, we will like to invite feedback regarding the drafts of our revised curriculum documents. The drafts of the revised curriculum and the feedback survey are available through the end of the day Friday, February 5. We have extended the survey for an additional two more weeks from our original closure date of Friday, January 8. We appreciate your time and any feedback you want to share at the link below:

In-Person and Virtual Summer School Planned
The district is currently planning to offer in-person and virtual summer school classes. Details are coming soon.
Please Return Library Books; Fines Suspended
Do you have school library books that are overdue? Currently school libraries are missing many books districtwide. We are asking that you please return any books that your student has checked out as soon as possible, when school resumes in January. You can drop off books at your students' home schools anytime during regular school hours.
WGSD will suspend library fines through the end of January.
School Meals/Food for Families
During distance learning, Webster Groves students have access to free breakfast and free lunch available for free home delivery. Meal pick-up won't be offered.
