As part of the 2023 The Missouri School Public Relations Association (MOSPRA) Awards Program, members are given the opportunity to have their work evaluated by public relations and communications professionals and measured against industry standards. In the 2023 MOSPRA Communications Awards Program, Webster Groves School District was recognized with an Award of Excellence in the Special Marketing/Special Purpose Publication category for their Our Schools print newsletter.

Each submission in the program was judged by a minimum of two professionals in the field of public relations, communications, or marketing. One of the category judges of the Webster Groves School District entry wrote, “The newsletter is extremely well organized. The design draws your eye to each article and there are great images highlighting students.”

WGSD Director of Communications Derek Duncan said, “We are honored to share the great things happening in the Webster Groves School District and continue to be inspired by the incredible accomplishments and stories of our students and staff.”

Our Schools is the print newsletter mailed to all households and businesses in the Webster Groves School District attendance area each spring.
