New assistant athletics and activities director selected

Webster Groves High School is proud to announce the hiring of Corey Toenjes as the next assistant athletic director and activities coordinator for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Mr. Toenjes is currently serving as the director of communications and safety coordinator for School of the Osage School District in Lake Ozark, MO. During his time, of the Osage has received the prestigious MOSPRA Award of Excellence, awarded to a school that connects their high school with the surrounding local businesses. Mr. Toenjes has also served as the lead safety coordinator for the district, overseeing all safety initiatives and security projects on a district level. Prior to his time at Osage, Corey was a longtime business and marketing teacher, helping to develop new courses within his school's curriculum. He has also served as the lead DECA sponsor taking students to state and national competitions.

Corey Toenjes also brings a wealth of coaching experience to Webster Groves High School.  He served as the Head Football Coach for Northwest High School, helping to lead them to their first football conference championship as a Suburban Conference member.  Along with football, Mr. Toenjes also has experience coaching girls basketball as well as track & field. Mr. Toenjes plans to serve as an assistant on Webster’s football staff this upcoming season.
