We are so fortunate to live in a state that has so many natural areas! While we are practicing social distancing, we can get out in nature. Have your child/children do some research on Missouri's natural areas and trails (https://nature.mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/places/natural-areas). They can research the history of the natural area and plan a hike. There are long hikes, short hikes, easy hikes and moderate to difficult hikes. Grab a trail map to teach some map skills.
