Dear Sirius Families,

As we end our second full week of distance learning, we can’t thank you enough for your flexibility and honesty as we work through our new normal.   We are feeling positive about the routines that are being established with student learning and the engagement we’re seeing from the team as a whole.  If you haven’t had a chance to give us feedback yet or if things have changed and you want to do it again, please fill out this form:

Most of you signed up to receive Google Classroom updates either daily or weekly.  These notices are a good tool, however it can also be overwhelming. Please know that these are snapshots, not report cards.  If you are seeing lots of missing assignments, they may be doing the work but forgetting to press “turn in” or “mark as done.”

Finally, know that we are here for you and ready to help in any way we are able. We realize that every home situation is unique, therefore our expectations of what our students are able to do is wide open.  Our goal is to provide daily opportunities for creating structure, learning content, developing perseverance, and making connections. We know that you will make decisions on how to use our Classrooms to best serve your family.

Take care of yourselves and enjoy this additional time with your families.

Stay healthy!
