Proposition S, WGSD's $45 Million No-Tax-Rate Increase Bond Issue
The Board of Education has unanimously approved a recommendation to place a $45 million no-tax-rate increase on the Aug. 2nd ballot. If approved, the money would be used to improve aging buildings and learning environments across the district. The proposal addresses electrical upgrades, mitigation for water infiltration, accessibility and more.

Eye Thrive Visits
Eye Thrive will offer free eye exams and glasses at six SLCL locations this summer. Eye exams will be administered starting at 9:00 a.m. at each of the dates and locations listed below. Capacity is limited. Exams will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis until all spots are filled. All services are provided free of charge. A parental consent form must be completed prior to the eye exam. Any child age 4-18 is eligible for an eye exam and glasses.
Registration for Late Start Supervision is until June 30th
Elementary Schools (K-5): Avery, Bristol, Clark, Edgar Road, Givens, and Hudson
Late Start Supervision Program: 7:40am-8:50am
School Day Arrival Begins @ 8:50am
School begins @ 9:05am

WGSD staff will manage the Late Start Supervision Program, including instructional aides and substitute teachers. Families who participate in the morning Adventure Club Program will automatically be enrolled in the Late Start Supervision Program for your building.
Registration in the Late Start Supervision Program will be for the entire school year (all late start days) so that we can appropriately plan for staffing for the 22-23 year.
Follow these steps (desktop) to register your student(s) for late start supervision:
- Log on to the Tyler SIS portal: https://sis.webster.k12.mo.us/wg360x3/parent
- Look for an alert above “Announcements” titled “New optional e-Forms are available” and click “view” (note: you can also navigate to the e-Forms from the left drop-down menu under “School Life -> e-Forms).
- “Late Start Supervision Enrollment 2022-2023” should appear as an “optional” selection, click the hyperlink.
- A new window will generate. Select your student -> click next -> select 22-23 -> click next -> select late start option (yes or no) -> click submit -> confirm your submission by clicking “submit." Note: complete a submission for each student you wish to enroll.
Summer Field Hockey Camp

The Freestyle Pool Pass is Back!
To those families who may currently be in need of financial support to access the pool, our goal is to provide:
- WGSD PreK – 5th grade students: 4 Freestyle Pool Passes per student upon request
- WGSD 6th – 12th grade students: 2 Freestyle Pool Passes per student upon request
- If you have more than one child attending the same WGSD school, then you will receive a family pack of Freestyle Pool Passes.
If you currently are in need of financial assistance and are interested in receiving Freestyle Pool Passes (each is good for one daily admission), then please complete this WGSD Freestyle Pool Pass Request Form by May 13, 2022, or contact your child’s counselor, Jenn Starbuck (314-918-4453). The passes will be given to your child May 19 - 20, 2022. During pool season, Freestyle Pool Passes will also be available at Webster Rock Hill Ministries and inside the Rec Center front desk.

Adventure Club Enrollment is Open
Applications are now posted on the Ambrose Adventure Club website and will be accepted at Ambrose Family Center beginning on the dates below between 7:30 AM-4:30 PM. Applications will not be accepted before your school’s registration date.

Applications will continue to be accepted at Ambrose after your school’s registration date. Completed applications will be processed in the order they are received. Priority enrollment is no longer available.
