A HUGE Thank You to the Clark Trivia + Auction Committee!

The PTO would like to extend a huge thank you to the Clark Trivia + Auction Committee for all their hard work to make this year's event a huge success. Thank you Erin Rubinelli, Lindsey and Joe Dreste, Kate and Russ Cahoon, Jen Brogan, Brandy Turek, Nate Plucker, James Eddy, Stephanie Seiffertt, and Angie Crull for putting together another awesome evening! The Clark PTO sponsors a Birthday Book Club that allows you to donate a book to our library in celebration of a birthday or other special event in your child's life. During the month of your child's birthday, you will receive an email with a link to an online order form. 5th Grade Art Show, May 4th

Mark your calendars for the district wide 5th Grade Art Show! It will be Thursday, May 4th from 6-8 PM at Hixson Middle School. It is an open house style event that will takes place in the hallways outside of the cafeteria. Any questions? Send Mrs. Boyer an email at boyer.paige@wgmail.org .

WGSD Summer Learning Information

Students in elementary school: This summer we will be offering two options for students entering kindergarten through 5th grade to continue learning. For students who qualify for the Celebrate Reading program, individual invitations will be shared with families during Parent-Teacher Conferences in mid-March. Jumpstart to Kindergarten: 

Children will have the opportunity to become familiar with the kindergarten experience through activities that promote the development of literacy, math, art and music abilities, as well as social and fine-motor skills. Classroom and school routines will also be addressed in order to help students make a smooth transition to kindergarten. Children must be five by August 1, 2023. This is a free program available to all WGSD residents.

Summer Exploration Experience: Summer Exploration Experience is a free program for students entering 1st through 5th grade during the 2023-24 school year.

Students will:

  • enjoy 23 days of hands-on/project-based learning.
  • have a voice in the direction of their learning.
  • drive their own personalized final project, reflecting on their interest in a topic.

The program is taught by certified staff who are trained in project-based learning.

Dates: June 5 – July 7 (No school June 19 or July 4)
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Location: Avery Elementary

Celebrate Reading: Celebrate Reading is a tuition-free summer program offered to students by invite only.

Dates: June 5 – July 7 (No school June 19 or July 4)

Time: 12:30 p.m. -- 2:30 p.m.

Location: Avery Elementary 

Registration for all summer programs begins March 1st (TODAY) at 7 p.m.
Registration for students entering K-8
  1. Log on to the parent portal. https://sis.webster.k12.mo.us/wg/parent (Your username is the email address we have on file. If you forget your password, first clear the username and password fields, then simply use the "Forgotten Password?" option on the Logon screen and the system will automatically email a link to reset your password.)(Hint: Make sure before you hit “Forgotten Password” the username and password fields must be blank in order to receive an email.)

  2. Click on View to fill out the e-Form on the yellow banner of the parent portal.

  3. Click on Summer School 2023

WGSD Board Candidate Forum, March 30th at Hixson Middle School

Clark PTO encourages families to learn more about this year's Board of Education Candidates. The League of Women Voters will be sponsoring a forum for candidates running for the Webster Groves School District Board of Education. The candidates in order of how they will appear on the ballot are:
